You’ve Seen the Movies…Now Read the BOOK!

During the last part of the first century AD, near the end of the Apostle John’s life, a message was delivered to him from the Lord Jesus Christ, “to show to his bond-servants things which must soon take place.” Revelation 1:1

While many have sought to interpret the symbols and images contained in the book of Revelation, few have looked to the rest of the Bible to help unlock these apparent mysteries. As a result, the book of Revelation has been left to the imaginations of various individuals and groups (both Christian and non-Christian) which have used the symbols of Revelation to inspire false prophecies, movies, books and even video games.

Of all these symbols, none has proven to be as intriguing to most people as ARMAGEDDON.  Revelation is a book of symbol as it is recorded specifically for His bond-servants, and the whole of the Bible is to be carefully searched and explored to gain the keys that unlock the meaning of the book of Revelation and the events of ARMAGEDDON.

“I approached one of those who were standing by and began asking him the exact meaning of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things.” Daniel 7:16 Through careful search of the whole Bible and clear exposition, the Seattle Christadelphians present a 4-part video series (between 45-60 minutes each) which explores the Biblical answers to many questions that arise in the book of Revelation: What is ARMAGEDDON? What is the purpose of ARMAGEDDON? Who is going to be involved in ARMAGEDDON? Who or what is the Anti-Christ? What is Babylon the Great? How do the Old Testament prophecies impact the proper understanding of Revelation? Where are we now in God’s timeline? God’s word itself contains the interpretation of the symbols, and by searching the Holy Bible for the answers to these questions, we can then appreciate the loving exhortation (below) that is given to Christ’s servants in the context of the nations being gathered to ARMAGEDDON: “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame” – Jesus Christ, Revelation 16:15
