Israelis were sent racing for cover late Thursday afternoon as Code Red incoming rocket alert sirens wailed across the north.
According to the IDF Spokesperson, two rockets exploded in an open field in the Galilee Panhandle, igniting flames in the area.
Two more rockets landed in a field in the Golan Heights, igniting a blaze there as well.
Firefighters are battling both blazes at present, and six firefighting aircraft are being held on standby to back up the firefighting ground crews if needed.
No physical injuries were reported although several residents were traumatized by the attacks, which were fired from the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.
